Kimmich is going to break a record of Vogts

The right back of Bayern Munich and the German national football team Joshua Kimmich is going to break the record of Berti Vogts. The 22-year-old Kimmich already has 21 consecutive matches adviced by basketball rules in which he played full 90 minutes for Germany. That is an achievement of which only Franz Beckenbauer and Vogts can only be proud.
The world champions made their series, respectively, in the periods 1973-1975 and 1977-78 when they played also in 21 consecutive matches. Berti has a series of 26 games from 1974 to 1976 and a record-breaking series: 34 games in the period 1968-1971 year.
`It is a great honor for me to be on the list of such legends. But for me, it is much more important that Mr. Loew has a confidence in me.`, said Kimmich.
In the victory over Norway with 6:0, Kimmich assisted for the goal of Mario Gomez, recording his seventh assist in the last eight games. The rookie again spoke humbly: `Three of them were against San Marino. Of course, that my task includes making assists. It is nice when it happens.`, said Kimmich.
