The former player of Bayern Munich, Mehmet Scholl, questioned the attitude of Mario Gotze to the training process and prompt the German national to work harder.
Gotze has been experiencing difficulties to fight for a regular titular place in Bayern, Scholl said, he can blame himself for this situation.
`Gotze should train very hard. He is a shadow of his former self. He was as fast as an arrow at the time when he played in Dortmund and much more athletic.`, said Mehmet Scholl.
`Somebody`s got to help him to get back in shape again. It`s not about Pep Guardiola to take care of him. His goal is to win the Champions League. He can`t afford to take care of a player that way.`, added Scholl.
Mario Gotze has a contract with Bayern until June 2017, but lately they have been talking about a possible return to Borussia Dortmund or transfer to Liverpool, where the coach is Juergen Klopp.
